University Park Professional Firefighters Local 3661 The University Park Professional Firefighters Union Local 3661 is composed of men and women who proudly serve and protect the community.

Organized in 1994, The University Park Professional Firefighters Local 3661 has 16 members with 3 lieutenants and 13 firefighters over 3 shifts. We operate out of two stations from which we serve to protect not only the citizens of the Village of University Park, but also the Governors Gateway Industrial Park, Governors State University, and a portion of Interstate 57.

Hey all of our wonderful supporters. I know we just got done running the Bourbon Raffle, which ran a little later this year, and all of you helped us make that a success. That said the commissioner, Roger, denied my request to push the big game back a few weeks. Said Da Bears didn't need the extra time and that L3661 would just have to dig deep and hustle a little more on this year's Squares Fundraiser.
So here it is, this fundraiser primarily helps us with fundraising for Project Fire Buddies, allowing us to be prepared for the day one our youngest residents need "More good days" and helping carry on that goal for others right now.
