The main goal of SASC is to promote prevention of and recovery from substance abuse disorders through advocacy, civic engagement and increasing awareness of the impact addiction has on individuals, families and our society as a whole. Another important aspect of SASC is our commitment to cultivating professional development for students pursing careers in the addiction treatment or a closely related fields.
