Sister Lead Support 💃🏾

I knew motherhood would change me. But, I had no idea how. Change is inevitable; and at times, change can be uncomfortable. I experienced radical shifts in my pregnancy. I’ve grown tremendously since becoming a mother. My daughter teaches me more than I could ever teach her. I am completely humbled. There is no rule book. These sweet baby souls are wonderfully made. I am so grateful to be her mother.

I’ve shared that my labor/birth was very traumatic. This made the initial period of postpartum very difficult. I am so grateful to my sisters that came to my side in person, and to all the sisters that sent encouraging and loving calls/texts. Even if it took me a few weeks to respond, every message felt like healing ointment to my broken heart/spirit.

The Birth Crew continued to show up for the mamas in birth and womb work. I love my team. They are the best!!

Over the last couple of months I’ve sat in circle with sisters to unpack and get to a place of acceptance about my experience. I’m coming back to myself and integrating what happened with what is.

2025 my offerings will be moving towards holding space for the mamas and women that reach out to The Womb Wing. I will not be attending any births, but I will be present in other ways. Stay tuned for those updates and changes to the website. Until then if you’re interested in doula care schedule a “Doula Q&A” call to learn more or book an in person session for massage/bodywork or herbal consultation.

Love You All ✨🫶🏾✨

There is power in the word ✨PU$$Y✨

✨Pussy is a slang term for the female pudenda is thought to derive ultimately from Low German puse “vulva” or Old Norse puss “pocket, pouch”. It didn’t arise in English with a sexual meaning until the 19th century, but prior to that it had been used to refer to women in general (16th century)✨

Although the word “pussy” usually makes folks blush, here at The Womb Wing, the word is said in sweetness and empowerment.

Moving forward we will not be using the term YONI because it originates from Sanskrit in reference to the Hindu goddess, Shakti.

One thing about moving with Christ, is that the guidance is clear. There are no hidden agendas or ancient deities at work.

Aside from using the term “pussy”, we’ll be referring to all female reproductive organs in their medical terminology. This way everyone interested in our work is aware of what we are discussing within all of the services and helpful resources we share/offer.

If there’s a term of endearment you have for your “pussy” feel free to share in the comments below 💦⬇️✨
