The University Heights Symphonic Band's Mission:

To organize and operate exclusively for cultural performances and related instruction and training which benefits the City of University Heights or any other communities served by the Band. To provide musical growth and development, including quality performance opportunities for amateur instrumental musicians in University Heights and the surround

ing communities. To provide musical enrichment for the greater Cleveland community. To promote the value of music in education and in the community.

Our Summer Concert Series continues tomorrow, Thursday, June 4, with the University Heights Symphonic Band at 7 pm!

Join us for a beautiful summer evening band concert on the lawn behind President and Mrs. Garfield's home! The expansive lawn here at James A. Garfield National Historic Site makes for a perfect venue for an outdoor concert featuring music from different periods of American history. Feel free to bring lawn chairs, drinking water, and picnic baskets! (Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted.) Sponsored by the James A. Garfield Alliance and The Garfield Trail of Ohio. Free and weather permitting.

☀️🎶 Summer vibes are almost here! 🎶☀️
We’re just a few weeks away from kicking off our Summer Concert Series, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Join us on Thursday, July 2nd at JCU as we open the season with the beautiful, melodic sounds of the University Heights Symphonic Band.

Pack up your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets and bring the whole family for a relaxing evening filled with great music, delicious food trucks, and wonderful community spirit. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a summer night together! 🌳🍔🎷
