Psalms 40:1-3
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD, and he inclined unto me and heard my cry.

As a pastor, I learned that waiting is just a fact of life. Sometimes God answers our prayers immediately, but at other times He makes us wait to see the answer. When we wait for Him patiently, we show that we trust Him.
