A night of pure musical magic, and it all started in a U City classroom. 🎷✨
This weekend, the Lions Pride & Purpose Jazz Homecoming Reunion brought the house down! Beloved music teachers and band directors reunited with the students they once taught, now acclaimed, world-class artists. Classmates connected to celebrate their own. The love in the building was unmistakable. Every note was a thank-you. Every embrace was a homecoming.
Friends, family, and the entire U City community packed in to celebrate the music, the memories, and the teachers who believed in these kids before the world knew their names. 💛
To our incredible artists Christopher, David, Peter & Todd: thank you for coming home, for paying homage to U City Schools, and for showing every student in our district what’s possible. You are proof that great teaching changes lives.
