Friends and community. KayBella did it, and surpassed her goal of paying for her $5300 trip to Japan! With our recycling, she has raised another $977.90 since last posting, for a total of $6,072!!!!!! Everyone has been so thoughtful and intentional about reaching out when there is the chance to recycle and we appreciate that! We had a family donate copper gutters that were in a garage, taking up space, and that earned over $200!!! Do not put metal in your trash! Please recycle by any means necessary. Tagging some extremely wonderful friends we have met along the way, I’m sure I’m missing some but we love and thank you. This would not be possible without you. Pennies make dollars and we are here for it! Cross family will continue recycling and leave for our trip May 30th!! Stand by on a partnership to come!

Hi Everyone! We are still collecting! (Even with the lack of posting, we have been busy!) In the last month we have recycled $143.07 worth of metal, bringing the new total raised to $4,869! Thank you all so much! Some big updates!! We have a little over 4 months till our trip, KayBella has gotten her passport, and we put in the request to extend our trip and travel to Thailand for 10 days after the Japan tour! We will be meeting dad and brother there and are so excited to also share this first international trip with them being included! I hope everyone had the best holiday season, and definitely a great start to the new year. We are ready to get to work and recycle till our trip comes, leaving May 30th! (Potentially continuing to recycle afterwards, if we can find a program to donate to- thinking something with Brittany Woods middle school) Some have requested itinerary information, so attaching that here! We are beyond excited and so blessed to have your support! I continue to hope this serves you as well, having an outlet to recycle and avoid the landfill! Much love to all 🥰

New supporter alert! Big Muddy Adventures reached out and asked if we would help recycle their cans!!! Of course we said yes, and the more I read about their business and contributions to outdoor education, we can’t wait to book a paddle!! A large portion of our 100lbs recycled this past week was a huge thank you to them! 💛🖤 How amazing is our St. Louis community?! Recycling knowledge goes hand and hand with respect of our environment and learning about our natural resources! Thank you for thinking of us. 🥰

We had been accumulating our copper and finally dropped off. We learned the difference between #1 and #2 copper and are grateful Missouri Water didn’t mind leaving their left overs from our lead pipe replacement! You should request them to do the same ❤️❤️

Hi everyone! Thank you for your continued support! Since last posting, with the help of your donations, KayBella has raised another $275.20 and we are now up to $3,507! KayBella started middle school this past Monday! She is loving Brittany Woods 💛🖤 and we have 9 months till her trip to Japan! One huge shout out this week goes to her dear friend Gigi! Gigi’s mom Laura has been recycling with her dad since little and continued saving cans for recycling into adulthood, doing an annual drop off which would then take her family (large family!) out for burgers. This year, the family decided to donate their cans to KayBella to put towards her trip! Net weight of the cans was 148 pounds or $66.60. It was A LOT of cans. We are so grateful for the help of our friends and community!
