Delta College Military Association The DCMA provides opportunity and support to students affiliated with the United States Armed Forces, Student engagement within the DCMA can lead to the:

The Delta College Military Association is a registered student club on The Delta College Main Campus. It's aim is to provide meaningful experiences to participating members and the community at large. The DCMA strives to enhance student leadership and personal growth among military affiliated students, as well as affording the opportunity to augment military experience with formal education. nued development of leadership skills and civic responsibility.
2. Development of social skills through interaction with peers as well as utilization of "civilian-life" reintegration techniques.
3.Development of activities that reinforce classroom instruction and supplement academic learning.
4. Development of activities that offer the opportunity of increased group participation and interaction while instilling a sense of participation and responsibility as a member of the group and campus community.
5. Development of activities that promote the successful development of students' intellectual and educational capabilities, personalities, and physical skills.
6. Development of activities that provide a means of uniting the campus community by promoting positive relations between students, faculty, and staff from diverse background.
7. Development of activities that bring cultural, intellectual, educational, recreational, and social stimulation to the campus community.
8. Résumé building experience. Develop and articulate experiences that will be beneficial in any career program of study.
9. Development of Networking skills.
10. Development of Public speaking and presentation skills.
11. Learn how to organize and implement meetings, events, fundraisers, etc.

Monday 25 February 2019 is US Armed Forces Day at the Women’s and Men’s Basketball Games. 530 and 730. Veterans get in free with proof of Service. 🙂

Hello all. Just sending a message out again that seems to not have posted. The current DCMA 2018-19 President is Donny Weismiller. He will be setting up a meeting in the next two weeks to talk about enrollment and the clubs goals. Hope to see many of you there to help this club get back on its feet and do great things for this school and community. Donnie will be leaving us after this semester and
we will need another president to carry on the great work that he has done. Please consider joining and possibly becoming a leader in the club. Thanks.
