AARC Assoc. for Advancement and Relief for the Children of Latin America

AARC-NIC is a 501c3 C Christian based organization founded by Gilbert Garcia and RoseAnn Garcia. We are dedicated to bringing relief to the children of Latin America. We provide nutritional support to children that live in regions of extreme poverty. In addition, AARC-NIC provides educational funding for youth so they can attend institutions of higher learning. Most of these boys and girls would otherwise never have this opportunity to attend college. Some of these recipients are now computer engineers, accountants, and medical doctors, many more are attending universities as we speak.

For the past 14 years AARC has provided at our annual Christmas Fiestas in Nicaragua. These events have brought happiness to children in Esteli, Juigalpa, Cuidad Sandino, Masaya and Nindiri. This year these fiestas will touch over 1,200 children as we distribute toys, gifts, food, and candy. We also take time to gather the families that attend to share a message of Salvation of Christ and the Love Christ offers all that follow Him.

We will also continue to support and fund work in Mexico We frequently visit and financially support an orphanage in San Fernando, Tamaulipas Mexico. San Fernando has been one of the hardest hit cities by the Gulf and Zetas cartels. The city has been reduced from 65,000 plus citizens to 25,000. Many have fled and many more have been killed unfortunately leaving many children as orphans. Our mission is to travel to areas of extreme poverty, bringing the Love, Peace and Hope that a relationship with Christ promises.

We sincerely ask for your support, to be able to continue these missions, but especially our Christmas program in both Nicaragua and Mexico. 100% of donations go toward the children. We pay our expenses to travel to and from Nicaragua and Mexico.

Update from Gilbert Garcia ...
This afternoon, we had lots of children today at our first 2 Fiestas, Cuidad Sandino and Nindiri. Tomorrow we will be at Las Flores in Masaya, then we will head north to Juigalpa. We travel to Boaco Viejo the next day, then on to Estelli up north. We will finish on the Pacific side in the south at Rivas on the 20th. I leave the next morning home. AARC-NIC (Association for the Relief and Care) will be providing food, gifts, sweets and much more for the children of Nicaragua. Nicaragua is a country where the vast majority of the children suffer from mal-nutrition, medical care and live in areas of extreme poverty. AARC-NIC has for the last 10 years organized and put on Christmas parties in 7 different areas of Nicaragua. We have also provided education to institutes of higher learning by sponsoring ambitious students by paying the full cost of tuition and books and fees. Beginning on December 12 we will be traveling to Nicaragua to begin our annual Christmas Fiestas with the children there. We will also travel to San Fernando, Tamp, Mexico to bring Christmas to the children in the orphanish there. We have provided thousands of dollars in help to these children. We ask for your monetary help in making this possible. AARC is a non-profit 301c Christian based organization and all contributions are Tax Deductable. As an added note, 100% of money donated goes directly to the children. We pay for our own cost associated with travel into these countries and do not use any money from AARC in any way. All moneies go to the children we serve. The following is the schedule for the Nicaraguan Trip.

1. 12 December 2017 (Tuesday) Arrival in Nicaragua.
12-14 we will distribute all the food and supplies to the different departments in the country.
2. 15 December 2017 (Friday) Cuidad Sandino/Managua. 10:30 am. We will host 300 children
3. 15 December 2017 (Friday) Nindiri. 3:30 pm. We will host another 350 children
4. 16 December 2017 (Saturday)La Flores/Masaya. 11:00 am We will Host 500 Children there.
5. 17 December 2017 (Sunday) Juigalpa, Chontola. 11:00 am. We will host 350 Children there
6. 18 December 2017 (Monday) Boaco Viejo. 11:00 am. We will Host 300 Children there.
7. 19 December 2017 (Tuesday) Estelli. 11:00 am. We will Host 350 children there.
8. 20 December 2017 (Wednesday) Rivas. 11:00. We will host 300 children there.

For the past 7 years, AARC has been hosting Christmas parties in the destitute neighborhoods of Nicaragua and other Latin American countries. At each gathering, we provide a meal and a toy for around 3,000 children who do not otherwise experience the blessings of Christmas. We also deliver food and gifts to remote villages for whom these festivities are commonly out of reach.
