becoming a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association. AFSA is a platform to preserve and advance the enlisted and officer corps' benefits. Membership is open to DoD active-duty enlisted members, guard and reservists,
veterans and dependents. This organization works to preserve the benefits
many Airmen and their families depend on while serving and after separation
by acting as a direct line of communication to voice concerns. The group meets on the second Thursday of each month at 11:30 p.m. AFSA meetings are an outlet for members to discuss policies, proposed
legislation and potential changes in benefits. From Advocacy Campaigns on Voter Voice and the AFSA Legislative Action
Center to writing letters to local congressional representatives, AFSA
members work to campaign for Airmen's rights. Overall, AFSA urges Airmen to take an interest in government and policies
that may affect them. Let your voice be heard. If you are interested in joining AFSA, contact us for notifications on future meetings and events.

Eyes Above the Horizon® is coming to San Antonio.

The future of aviation begins with inspiration. Through the Eyes Above the Horizon® program by Legacy Flight Academy®, youth ages 11 to 19 will have the opportunity to explore aviation, connect with mentors, and discover pathways into aviation and STEM careers.

This program continues the powerful legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, whose courage and excellence opened doors in aviation and created opportunities for generations to follow.

Date: March 28, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: Bario Aviation Inc

Participants will experience:

✈️ Flight Introduction
👨‍✈️ Mentorship program for youth ages 11 to 19

The VA recently issued a new rule that could change how disability ratings are evaluated by considering conditions while medicated. This raises serious concerns about fairness, consistency, and the potential impact on veterans who rely on earned benefits.
