The Used Bookstore located just inside the entrance to the library is run and staffed entirely by the Friends group. The bookstore features donated and gently used books, and has books for children of all ages. Inventory comes primarily from donations and books retired from the library Please, do not donate textbooks or outdated technical manuals. We also accept and sell jigsaw puzzles with no m

issing pieces, DVDs, music CDs, audio books, LPs, and board games with no missing pieces. Donations can be brought in during store hours. All proceeds received from donations and bookstore sales are used to aid the library in providing services, programs, books, and other equipment the library might otherwise be unable to afford.

Bookstore will be open on Friday from 9 AM to 4:45 PM. Closed on Saturday, 9/5 as Library is closed for Labor Day.

UPDATE: The August 28th fundraiser has been cancelled. Our next fundraiser at the Walmart on Kitty Hawk Rd will be Saturday, September 5th from 9-3. You can also go to the Friends Used Bookstore, just inside the Universal City Public Library and we can help you with your Wreaths Across America requests or donations.
