You’re allowed to not be okay after a call.

We’ve built this whole culture around being “fine.” You clear the call, you clean the truck, you go get food like nothing happened.

Sometimes that’s real. Sometimes it’s armor.

I’ve sat in a rig after a call and felt nothing, then felt everything three hours later at home for no reason I could explain. Nobody warns you that’s how it works. You don’t always feel it when you’re supposed to.

If you’ve ever gone quiet after a call and couldn’t explain why, you’re not broken and you’re not weak. You’re a person who just did something most people will never have to do. That’s supposed to cost something.

You don’t have to perform “fine” for the people around you. Chances are your partner’s had the same 3am moment you have.

Congratulations to Henry on earning his EMT license!

Over the past several months, Henry has worked incredibly hard to achieve this milestone while balancing a full-time job, his commitment to Unity Ambulance, and the demands of EMT class. His dedication and perseverance have paid off, and we’re proud to welcome another outstanding provider to the Unity Ambulance team.

Henry has been a dedicated driver with Unity Ambulance for the past 11 years, and we’re thrilled to see him take the next step in his EMS career as an EMT. His experience, commitment to our organization, and passion for serving others will continue to make a positive impact on our patients and the communities we serve.

Unity Ambulance was proud to provide EMS coverage at Unity Raceway on Friday and Saturday night for the SCONE Tour races.

The weekend was a success, with only one patient transport and one simultaneous emergency call during the event. We appreciate the cooperation of race officials, staff, and spectators, which helped ensure everything ran smoothly.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to Unity Raceway for their continued partnership and support. We value the opportunity to work together to provide a safe environment for everyone at the track.

Thank you to our dedicated EMS crews for their professionalism throughout the weekend, and congratulations to all the drivers and teams for a great weekend of racing. We look forward to seeing everyone back at the track soon! 🏁🚑

Unity Ambulance would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the community members who generously donated to help us improve our station for our crews.

What began as a goal to purchase a picnic table quickly grew into something even more meaningful. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to obtain not only a picnic table for our outdoor space, but also a replacement refrigerator and additional outdoor chairs for our staff to enjoy.

At Unity Ambulance, we recognize the importance of resilience in emergency services. Our crews spend long hours responding to calls, caring for patients, and serving our communities. Providing a comfortable space where they can relax, recharge, and connect with one another between calls is an important part of supporting their well-being.

Your support directly contributes to the health, morale, and resilience of the people who are there when our communities need them most. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness and continued support of Unity Ambulance.

🎓🚑 Celebrating Two Incredible Milestones 🚒🎓

Today we are proud to recognize the accomplishments of Jenny and Konnor, who have each reached major milestones in their journeys.

Jenny has graduated from college and successfully earned her Paramedic certification. Through hard work, dedication, and countless hours of studying, training, and clinical experience, she has achieved a goal that will allow her to make a lasting difference in the lives of others. We are excited to see the impact she will have in EMS and our community!

Konnor has graduated from high school while also spending the past two years pursuing his passion for public safety. During that time, he successfully completed both his Firefighter and EMT training, demonstrating a commitment and work ethic well beyond his years. His dedication to serving others has already laid the foundation for a bright future in the fire and EMS profession.

Watching both of them grow, learn, and achieve their goals has been inspiring. Their accomplishments are a testament to perseverance, determination, and a desire to serve their communities.

Congratulations, Jenny and Konnor! Your hard work has paid off, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you. The future of Fire & EMS is brighter because of people like you.

Unity Ambulance is excited to provide EMS coverage for the All Star Monster Truck Tour at Unity Race Way, The Rebuild LLC on June 6th and 7th!

We're looking forward to a weekend filled with high-flying action, roaring engines, and family fun.

Our crews will be on-site throughout the event to provide emergency medical coverage for drivers, crews, and spectators, helping ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

As EMS Week comes to an end, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible crews of Unity Ambulance for the dedication, compassion, and perseverance they continue to show every single day.

No matter the hour, the weather, or the challenge, our providers continue to answer the call and stand ready to support the communities we serve. The work is not always easy, but the commitment our crews show to patient care, teamwork, and this community never goes unnoticed.

EMS is more than responding to emergencies — it is also about taking care of each other. Behind every call is a team that supports one another through long shifts, difficult calls, challenges, and victories. The strength of EMS comes from the people beside us, reminding each other that no one has to carry the weight alone.
