Goooooood morning, Camp Rock!

We know that there's the potential for some severe weather this afternoon, so we want to remind our families that if there is an active weather WARNING (severe thunderstorm or tornado), we will remain safe and sound at Camp Rock until that warning expires. This does mean that we may be late getting back to Lincoln Street this evening.

We will send communication as soon as possible if we do have a delay in transportation back to The Club.

Meanwhile, we've got lots of plans for storm days here at camp! Our campers will be inside and playing group games, building forts and legos, and staying safe and dry during any storms out here!

Just a reminder: we do NOT have a field trip tomorrow OR a cookout this week since we are not here on Friday...

BUT BUT BUT! We do have the Camp Rock Carnival coming up on Thursday!

Thursday afternoon, campers will join us for TONS of carnival fun: a bouncehouse, dunk tank, carnival games, carnival treats, face paint, hair tinsel, and more! We can't WAIT! 🎪🎟🍿

Welcome to Session 4: Camp Rock Carnival Week!🎪🎈🍿

Camp Rock goes under the big top. Join us for our annual Camp Rock Carnival! We’ll have games, face paint, bounce houses, and sweet carnival treats!

NOTE: Campers DO need swimsuits, towels, and sunscreen for this Wednesday and EVERY day this week!

Reminder: Camp Rock will be closed Friday June 19th for the Juneteenth holiday. We will NOT have a Camp Cookout this week!

A great pick-me-up after camp tomorrow!! 🍓

Tomorrow is the sweetest day of the year! Join us on Thursday, June 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Switchyard Park Pavilion for the Strawberry Shortcake Festival, rain or shine. Enjoy delicious strawberry shortcake topped with strawberries, Bruster's Real Ice Cream vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream for $10, along with hot dog specials for $5 and water for $2. Feeding a crowd? Take home a Strawberry Shortcake Kit with 10 servings of cake, a quart of Bruster's vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and whipped cream for $75.

Walk up to the pavilion or use the convenient drive-thru from the Rogers Street entrance, and cool off inside the air-conditioned pavilion while enjoying live music from Moon Buggy (11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.) and the Sera-Tones (5:00–6:30 p.m.). Face painting and caricatures begin after 1:00 p.m.

Happy Wednesday from The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis! Today we have taken a plane ride to Peru, joined Tiana for Mardi Gras, saw so many dinosaurs, played make-believe in so many ways, tried out some careers, and even played a few sports before it got hot & sunny outside!

We LOVE this trip every summer-it gives our campers such a cool opportunity to learn in a hands-on environment!
