The Uniontown Area YMCA wanted to share an advertisement that is being published in today’s edition of the Herald Standard and will run again on September 4 regarding our Outdoor Court Modernization Project. Please see the advertisement below:

"NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Uniontown Young Men’s Christian Association, (YMCA) will receive bids for the project(s) identified herein until 1:15 p.m. on September 15, 2026, at the YMCA offices located at 1 YMCA Drive, Uniontown, PA, 15401 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids are solicited for the following: Uniontown Area YMCA Court Campus Modernization (Statewide LSA Contract No. C000097111). Contract Documents, including drawings and technical specifications, are available for review at the Offices of YMCA. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained by payment of $50 (non-refundable) to YMCA. A Bid Bond or other security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Certain Federal and State requirements govern work on the project(s) including, but not limited to payment of prevailing wages, non-discrimination in hiring and employment, all of which are more fully described in the contract documents. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on September 8, 2026, at 1 YMCA Drive, Uniontown PA 15401. All contractors considering submitting a bid are strongly encouraged to attend. YMCA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held by YMCA for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening.
