Veterans United Against Hatred

Veterans United Against Hatred Veterans United Against Hatred seeks to fight the racism, discrimination and violence that is tearing our great nation apart wherever we see it happening.

Our statement of faith concerning what we believe and seek to accomplish through our combined efforts:

1. All human beings are created equal and are equally deserving of the right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as granted by the God and written in the United States Bill of Rights & the Constitution.

2. All human beings are equally capable of acting on hatred toward another human b

eing in the form of racism, sexism, violence, discrimination, bigotry, and many other forms of oppressive hatred.

3. These forms of hatred toward others currently does exist in the world today and will continue to exist in the world until the end of time.

4. Human beings of all race, gender, color and creed are equally responsible for bringing about then end of this type of hatred by standing for what is right and just, educating the young, counseling their peers, and being a living example of what is right for others to emulate.

5. Violence, regardless of the motivation, is itself a form of hatred and oppression toward others. It is counter-productive and is equally wrong as a means to end these forms of hatred in the world today.

6. The use of counseling, education & mentor ship within your circles of close friends and family, tempered with love, kindness and understanding are the best methods to bring about the end of this type of hatred in the world today.

7. Social media and the internet has become a popular means to spread hatred through the posting of hateful messages that seek to create distrust and incite violence within the borders of our country.

8. The use of our "calling card" left on the pages and posts of Social media is meant to educate with love and understanding the damage that is being inflicted on our society and to grow our movement to bring peace and healing to our land.

Think about it....

This is about as raw and unscripted as it gets for how I feel! Never forget what makes us who we are. We don’t have to always agree, we don’t always have to follow but we do need to always have the same goal...... to unite

Here's a little history lesson about Memorial day. First observed to recognize the black heros of a civil war atrocity but today we honor our heros regardless of race.

While I think its very important to recognize the racism of the past (lest we repeat those mistakes in our future), I think the real positive story here is that today we can honor all of our histories heros, regardless of race or gender as equals.

Keep America hatred free!!! Stand up & Speak out!!

African Americans literally created Memorial Day. Here's how it went down.

Kids speak their minds about race

If you are a parent you can help end racism by teaching your kids early that we are all part of the human race and skin color is no different than eye or hair color. If you aren't already doing that then YOU are part of the problem.

In part two of Anderson Cooper's special report, kids give honest feedback on racial and social issues.

I do so love this little girl and her awesome family getting out there on YouTube and teaching some of these valuable lessons. Our poor communities need to hear this information .... Hell, we all need to hear this information. Let's give this family some love, like and share often!!

Children want to learn but all too often parents don't feed their hungry minds.

What If Black America Were a Country?

Now I do realize that Black America is not a country by itself. But what if it were? How would it rank globally? This article is from 2014, but I'd love to see a comparison over the years to these 2014 numbers!

Great Advice....

The Ku Klux Klan is in the news. Klansmen and Hillary. Klansmen and Trump. It is all designed to upset us and divide us and distract us from the real issues which challenge Americans today.
The video attached to this release is a different Klan story. A true story from the 1980's of a robe wearing Klansman and a daishiki wearing black man who found common ground.
