To our most active members, followers, and supporters:

No MO Sales Tax now has free yard signs available!
(18x24inch with stakes)

These were donated by one of our co-founders (in the St Louis area); please message Lloyd Thomas Sloan on Facebook if you would like one. Or leave your request in a comment below and he will contact you.

No MO Sales Tax is (for now) a volunteer grassroots organization committed to eventually abolishing (these regressive) Sales Taxes in Missouri. We are strictly non-partisan and welcome all of any party or without a party (independents) who share our goal. Amendment 5 could not be more opposite our goal.

The yard sign looks like this:

Latest guide from NAR:
How Solar Impacts a Real Estate Transaction

"Homeowners have three options when adding solar: They can purchase a system outright or with financing; lease solar panels from a third-party company; or sign a power purchase agreement (PPA) through which they buy electricity generated by a third-party company that owns the solar panels installed on their home. Real estate contracts vary by state, but many include language that specifies whether panels are owned or leased."

If you're looking at buying a home with solar panels or putting solar panels on your home, check out this consumer guide:

If you’re considering buying a home with a solar installation, be aware of how factors such as who owns the system; the age and condition of the panels; and local utility and regulatory policies influence solar performance and savings in the area.

Notice from the MREC for all real estate agents renewing their licenses:

https://pr.mo.gov/realestate-ceu-requirements.asp

Continuing Education Requirements/Renewal Deadlines
Each Real Estate licensee who holds an active license shall complete during the two (2)-year license period prior to renewal a minimum of twelve (12) hours of real estate instruction approved for continuing education credit by the Missouri Real Estate Commission.

At least three (3) of the twelve (12) hours of approved instruction shall be taken in a course approved by the Missouri Real Estate Commission as core credit.

Fair Housing CORE Mandate for 2026-2028 License Renewal Period

The current broker and salesperson renewal for the 2026-2028 license period will require an approved CORE course on Fair Housing. As you know, Missouri regulations currently require 12 hours of continuing education, of which at least 3 hours must be a CORE course. Therefore, if a licensee only takes one CORE course for the current renewal period (2026-2028), it must be a Fair Housing course. The licensee can, however, take all 12 hours comprised of CORE courses if they choose to do so.

The balance of the twelve (12) hours of instruction shall consist of courses which have been approved for either core or elective continuing education credit by the Missouri Real Estate Commission.

The Missouri Division of Professional Registration is comprised of 38 professional boards that are responsible for safeguarding public health, safety and welfare.

Yay Missouri Realtors !! What a victory 🙌

Missouri REALTORS® scored big wins for Missouri communities this session, with land bank tools for smaller communities and wholesaling disclosure protections for Missouri sellers crossing the finish line in the final hours of session as part of SB 973 and now headed to the Governor’s desk.

This is exactly what the REALTOR® Party is built to do, and it’s proof of the power of REALTOR® advocacy in action. When we issued our Call for Action, Missouri REALTORS® stepped up and made your voices heard right when it mattered most. Backed by our State Political Coordinators and a lobbying team that never let off the gas—even through the closing gavel—we got it done.
