The Giving Tree of NKY Foster Adoptive Parent Association of Northern Kentucky
This year has been one of incredible highs and significant lows. We saw our program grow from a one-person operation to integrating with a wonderful support network through the Foster Adoptive Parent Association (FAPA) and The Giving Tree.
Thanks to this partnership, we were able to serve over 300 children this year! It has been an amazing, uplifting outcome, and we feel so blessed to have been a small part of facilitating that.
As the year progressed, we also faced several challenges, from funding to volunteer hours and more. As a result, it is with a heavy heart that we must share this news: as of November 1st, we will be suspending our operations indefinitely.
Please know that your contributions have not gone to waste. We are working with a local partner organization to distribute all remaining donations to local families through their well-established holiday events.
Moving forward, The Giving Tree of NKY will continue its incredible work providing clothing, shoes, and other early-life necessities. While our year-round toy donation program is pausing, we will continue to keep our ears open for other resources and will share information as we get it.

There has been a significant investment in branding, website domains, and other assets that we will gladly pass on to any person or group passionate about ensuring all children have the opportunity to engage in high-quality play.
