We are collecting for April showers today at Schnucks in Washington and Schnucks in Union until 2:00 p.m. please come show some love! We KNOW the world is expensive right now, there's LOTS of families struggling. If you can help even with one item, it's 1 more than we had for them!!! 💖💖💖💖💖

CALLING ALL SENIORS OVER 60 &
Meeting the income requirements.
The once a month "senior box" program is temporarily letting us accept additional seniors. Attached is the guidelines for maximum income, per number of people in the household.
To fill out an application, come by the pantry any Tuesday or Thursday between 1:00 - 2:30 pm and ask the volunteer outside for a Senior Box application. If you qualify, you will start receiving the box, the following month.
Sign up in April, receive the box starting in May. You can also apply for regular bi weekly food distribution if you aren't already registered with us. Any questions let us know. 💖

New van to safely gather food for families is the need, the challenge is, if we can collect 20,000 from the community & businesses, a generous donor will match it with 20,000!!!

We have HUGE news!!
We have been offered a donation challenge.
We desperately need to replace our white van. It's been a great first vehicle for us! Many many trips into St Louis, lots of miles on it now, and I think the wrap is what's holding the rust together. 😄
A GENEROUS anonymous Donor has challenged us with matching their donation. They are willing to give us $20,000 towards a new van that is stand height, can have pallets loaded directly into it, and not be a worry of breaking down somewhere with a load of food!!! YAY
BUT, we need to MATCH IT! we need to raise $20,000 and will then they will match it with $20,000for the new van!!!
We need YOU now!!! PLEASE share the word, do a donation drive at work, bake sale, etc. We are a 501c3 and current legislation is moving to changing the current 50% tax credit to 70% for food pantries!!
Every dollar will help. We have 4 to 6 weeks to get this done!!

We will be CLOSED for food distribution on Tuesday Jan 27th due to weather.
When Union schools close, we too are closed, even if roads improve later in the day, we will still BE CLOSED.
