Franklin County Humane Society (FCHS) is excited to share our Furventure Program and invite your business to become a Furventure Approved Destination.
Furventure is an enrichment program created by FCHS to give shelter dogs opportunities to spend time outside the shelter, experience new environments, and build positive connections within our community. These outings help reduce stress, improve social skills, and increase adoption success while also encouraging community members to explore pet-friendly places with their own dogs.
By partnering with FCHS as a Furventure Approved location, your business will be recognized as a welcoming, dog-friendly destination and introduced to a loyal audience of animal lovers and pet owners.
Participating businesses receive:
🔸 A Furventure window cling or door decal to display
🔸 Listing on our website as a dog-friendly location
🔸 Promotion through social media and community outreach
🔸 Visibility to new customers who enjoy supporting pet-friendly businesses
🔸 Opportunities for special features and collaborations throughout the year
Businesses that choose to offer a small incentive for guests visiting with their Furventure dogs such as a treat, discount, or special offer will also be highlighted as Preferred Furventure Partners, which includes additional promotion and priority placement on our website.
Participation is free, and we will provide your Furventure decal so you can proudly show your support for pets in our community.
