Okay, Mississippi may not have gotten the memo that September means fall yet... because it's still HOT outside.

But September is here, and those cooler mornings, crisp afternoons, changing leaves, and cozy reading days are coming!

There's just something about fall that makes you want to curl up with a good book. Whether you're in the mood for a cozy mystery, romance, thriller, classic, something a little spooky, or just a story you've never tried before, your local library has plenty waiting for you.

Our fall displays are up, the shelves are full, and we're ready for the season—even if the weather isn't quite there yet. 🍁

📚SEPTEMBER IS LIBRARY CARD SIGN-UP MONTH!📚

September is the perfect time to **join the library—or come back to us!**

Whether you've never had a library card, your card needs to be renewed, or you've somehow managed to lose the one you had... we've got you covered.

📖 Get your first library card.
🔄 Renew your existing card.
🪪 Replace a lost card.

We'd love for you to join (or rejoin) our library family! There's so much more to your local library than just books, and your library card is your ticket to all of it.

And while we're at it...

📚 Have overdue books? Now is the perfect time to bring them back!

No judgment. Things happen. Books get left in the car, under the bed, in a backpack... sometimes they go on a whole adventure of their own. Just bring them home. ❤️
