Help Team Finley Fight Cystic Fibrosis One Step at a Time

Need some prayers 🙏🏼 for Miss Finley today. She’s having a second surgery within a week this morning! ❤️🙏🏼❤️

Finley Updates
The past month has been full of trying different meds, treatments, and routines to help with weight gain and to hopefully kick this cough/runny nose situation finally which only got worse with the virus earlier this month. Even through it all, Finley continues to be the happiest, smiliest little girl (minus overnight coughing fits and treatment time currently
Э), but unfortunately these
issues are still hanging around.
Over the next couple weeks Finley will undergo two separate surgeries.

First up next week is a g-tube revision to remove scar tissue that's been causing a lot of ongoing issues for her. We're hoping for either same-day discharge or just one overnight stay. Then we'll have a few quiet days at home for recovery... although how we're supposed to keep a toddler who wants to jump off the walls calm with possible stitches and a healing tube site is beyond me.

Then on June 2nd, we'll head back for an endoscopy along with additional GI botox procedures. After that, we'll likely stay inpatient for a few days so her team can work with us on feeds, GI meds, and hopefully getting this girl more comfortable and gaining weight consistently.
Both procedures are considered fairly simple and low risk — knock on wood
— and we're very hopeful these next steps will help our sweet girl feel better.

💜So sad that the weather canceled the CF walk today. We were all so excited about it, including Finley. So many people put so much time into making it happen. Until next year which will be bigger and better!




Today still meant more to us than we could ever put into words! Thank you so much to everyone who showed up to walk today, has donated to our team, and still supported Fin with us. The weather did not work in our favor, but we still got a little time there to see the incredible work put into such a special event and the support was incredible.

Nobody truly understands how much it means to know we have such an amazing village standing beside us and loving our girl so fiercely. 🤍

We have some touch decisions and weeks coming up medically for Finley, and today reminded us that we’re not walking through any of it alone. It gave us the strength to keep pushing forward, advocating hard, and fighting for our happy little girl who is full of so much sass, joy, and light.

She deserves the absolute world, and we are endlessly grateful for every single one of you.

💥Finally had a chance to meet up with the WINNER of the Silverlake Raffle Terri Sue!!! 🎉🎉🎉 she’s ready to head to the pool tomorrow when it’s going to be 85 degrees!! ☀️☀️CONGRATULATIONS!!

💜💜I’d like to thank EVERYONE for taking part in our raffles and making donations to help Team Finley’s Village in The Great Strides Walk this weekend!

✨We raised over $4,600 in just 2 months! Which is absolutely AMAZING!! ✨

💥💥Because of all of you I’m in the Top 10 of the largest donations and Team Finley’s Village is still in the top 5 teams for donations!! 💥💥

Next years fundraiser/raffles will be bigger and better!! Keep an eye out for them!!

We would truly like to thank everyone who participated in our raffles and donated to Finley's Great Strides Team in support of finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

We even had Finley join us to say thank you herself afterward
— although anyone who knows her knows she's usually not that quiet like she was during the live!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have officially exceeded my fundraising goal.
Our original goal was $2,000, and as of this morning, we have have raised an amazing $4,210, helping place Finley's Village Team among the top four fundraising teams!

I still have a few donations coming in, and I will share our final grand total soon.

We truly could not have accomplished this without all of you. Your kindness and willingness to support a sweet little girl many of you have never even met speaks volumes about the compassion and generosity of all of our family and friends.

Thank you again for supporting Finley, our family, and the fight against Cystic Fibrosis. We will be sharing pictures of Finley's Village Team next Saturday at the Great Strides walk! 💜💜

Finley's mom and dad:

Our daughter Finley who is 2 years old was born with Cystic Fibrosis, a life-threatening genetic disease that affects multiple organs in the body, including the lungs and digestive system.

She goes through daily treatments, lots of medications, surgeries, and many hospital stays-but continues to be the happiest, strongest little girl full of joy.

We're raising money for the:
