📣2026 Scholarship Applications Now Open! Complete Your Application Before Feb 15th📣

Our scholars have included high school seniors, students already attending college and adults who are completing degrees or pursuing them for the first time. ​Any Monroe County resident can apply for scholarship support by clicking "Apply Now" and completing an application on our website or by contacting the foundation for a paper application. The Monroe County Education Foundation was created to promote education for the betterment of Monroe County and its resident. Following this founding philosophy, we are proud to offer scholarships to all Monroe County residents regardless of age.

Big thanks to WVVA News for helping us to get the word out about how Monroe County residents have provided over $200,000 in scholarships over the past 25 years to support a lifetime of learning.

2026 scholarship applications are open until February 15th. If you're a Monroe County resident pursuing education or training at a college or technical school be sure to apply on our website before then.

Scholarships Applications Are Open!

If you're a Monroe County resident who plans to enroll in higher education or pursue international educational opportunities you can apply today for a Monroe County Education Foundation scholarship.

Our scholars have included high school seniors, students already attending college, and adults who are completing degrees or pursuing them for the first time. ​We also have funding to support international studies.

The 2025 application deadline is March 31st so be sure to get your application in today! Learn more and apply online at our website:
