What if expansion doesn’t begin with doing more—but with tending to what’s already growing within you? 🌱👑
This month’s Crowned Reads selection is The Garden Within by Dr. Anita Phillips.
Through the imagery of a garden, Dr. Phillips explores the connection between our emotional well-being, our faith, and our ability to flourish. Rather than treating emotions as something we simply need to suppress or control, she encourages readers to understand and nurture the condition of the heart.
And that message feels especially relevant to our September theme: Expansion & Influence.
We often think expansion begins externally:
A bigger platform.
A new opportunity.
A strategic partnership.
A new territory.
A larger audience.
But sustainable expansion also requires healthy roots.
Before asking God to increase our influence, it’s worth asking:
🌱 What am I cultivating internally?
🌱 What needs healing before I carry greater responsibility?
🌱 Are my roots strong enough for what I’m praying to grow?
🌱 Am I becoming the person capable of stewarding greater influence well?
Expansion isn’t only about where God is taking you.
It’s also about who you are becoming along the way.
Sometimes the preparation for greater territory happens quietly—in the soil no one else can see.
Tend the garden. Strengthen the roots. Then let God handle the growth. 👑🌱

Your network might be telling you it’s time to expand the room.
When the same people, conversations, and circles surround us, it’s easy to keep seeing the same possibilities.
Expansion introduces us to new perspectives, new territories, new partnerships, and new opportunities to create impact.
But growing your network isn’t about collecting more contacts.
It’s about intentionally building relationships with people who:
✨ See things differently than you do
✨ Bring strengths you don’t have
✨ Introduce you to new communities and perspectives
✨ Challenge you to think bigger
✨ Share a desire to create meaningful impact
Sometimes your next opportunity isn’t waiting for you to work harder.
It’s waiting in a room you haven’t entered yet.
So this week, challenge yourself to expand your circle. Start a conversation. Make an introduction. Attend something new. Reach out to someone whose work inspires you.
Because when the right people connect, influence grows—and impact multiplies.

Influence begins with making space for every voice. 🤟🏽🌍
Today, on International Day of Sign Languages, we recognize the importance of sign languages and the Deaf communities around the world who use them to communicate, connect, lead, create, and influence.
As we focus this month on Expansion & Influence, we’re reminded that meaningful expansion must also be inclusive.
Growing our reach means widening the table.
Building stronger communities means removing barriers.
And increasing our influence means creating spaces where people are not simply invited in—but are able to fully participate, contribute, and be understood.
Because true impact isn’t measured only by how many people we reach.
It’s also measured by who we make room for. 👑

Expansion isn’t always about becoming bigger.
Sometimes, it looks like becoming more intentional about where and with whom you grow.
Real influence is built when we:
→ create relationships before opportunities
→ collaborate instead of compete
→ enter new spaces with something meaningful to contribute
→ empower others to expand their own impact
→ build partnerships that continue creating change long after the introduction
At Crowned International, we believe expansion should multiply impact—not simply visibility.
Because a bigger audience is valuable.
But a stronger network of people creating change together? That can transform communities.
