We stand with our brothers and sisters with the Philadelphia Police Department. A Philadelphia police officer was ambushed in a shooting in West Philadelphia overnight has died.

Officer Shane Seiber, a 10-year veteran of the force, died at Penn Presbyterian Hospital Saturday morning. Seiber was a married father of a 7-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter.

New Jersey State PBA President Peter Andreyev said, “Our hearts and prayers go out to Officer Seiber’s family and friends. We continue to pray for the second officer who was also shot. The NJ State PBA will lend whatever assistance our brothers and sisters of Philadelphia FOP Lodge #5 need.”

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation and touched the lives of so many. We honor the 2,977 innocent lives lost, the brave first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless heroes who answered the call without hesitation. As members of law enforcement, we carry a special responsibility to remember the courage, sacrifice, and brotherhood displayed that day. May we never forget the families who were left behind, the heroes who gave everything, and the strength and unity that followed. 23 years later, their memories live on, their sacrifices will never be forgotten, and their legacy continues to inspire us. 🇺🇸🕊️ 🇺🇸

The Township of Union PBA Local #69 respectfully invites you to support our annual Golf Outing on Monday, September 21st, 2026 at Suburban Golf Club in Union, New Jersey.

Union PBA Local #69 is a nonprofit, community-oriented organization representing the patrol officers of the Township of Union Police Department. This year’s outing will bring together local businesses, community partners, public safety supporters, and golfers for a day of fellowship while raising funds for a meaningful cause.

Proceeds from this event will benefit our Scholarship Fund, which helps us give back to deserving students and families in our community. Your sponsorship, donation, or golfer registration directly supports that mission.

We are seeking event sponsors, hole sponsors, donated raffle prizes, gift certificates, merchandise, and registered golfers. Sponsorship opportunities are listed below, and a response form is included on the following page for your convenience.

Thank you for your time, consideration, and continued support of Union PBA Local #69. We look forward to partnering with you for another successful outing.

As America celebrates its 250th Anniversary, we proudly honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who fought for our nation’s independence—especially the heroes of the Battle of Connecticut Farms, fought right here in Union on June 7, 1780.

Their determination helped shape the freedoms we enjoy today, and their legacy continues to inspire generations of Americans.

To commemorate this historic milestone, the Township of Union PBA Local 69 is proud to unveil our America 250 Challenge Coin—a tribute to our country’s founding, the rich Revolutionary history of our community, and the men and women who continue to serve and protect it every day.

From the fields of Connecticut Farms to the streets of Union Township, the spirit of service, sacrifice, and patriotism lives on.

🇺🇸 250 Years of Freedom. One Nation. One Community. One Legacy.
