New Jersey FBLA-PBL stands with the FBLA-PBL National Center against racism. We are dedicated to the mission of community-minded leadership and equality for all of our members, advisers, alumni, and business leaders.

FBLA-PBL Statement Against Racism

We acknowledge the injustice and heartbreak that impacts our nation. It is important for us to also recognize the mission of FBLA-PBL and how it aligns to current events. FBLA-PBL’s mission calls on our members to become community-minded business leaders. Community-minded leadership means that FBLA-PBL must take a stand against racism. Community-minded leadership means that we must strive for equality for all.

Our Black business leaders, advisers, and student members deserve our solidarity to be spoken out loud. Black lives matter. We value our diversity. To all impacted by systemic racism within our country, please know that we stand by you and we will do our part to ensure that you are heard, protected, and celebrated by all.

As we look ahead to future programming at FBLA-PBL, we will identify opportunities for all members to explore, experience, and engage in social justice issues particularly as it relates to developing future business leaders. Most importantly, we want to ensure that when it comes to opposing racism, there is no neutral stance from FBLA-PBL.
