Our friends at First Financial Bank are asking for your help in supporting families leaving abuse. Your donations of the items described helps meet their daily needs. More than 300 people find safety and support at Sheltering Wings each year. Items can be dropped off weekdays from 9am-5pm at Sheltering Wings or at First Financial Bank locations in Avon and Speedway. Please help out if you can!

The Centennial Street Supper was a huge success despite having to postpone it for the weather! Many Speedway Lions were in attendance, and our past president Kyle Trebly MC’d the whole thing. Happy 100th birthday, Speedway!

Interested in learning more about Speedway Trails? Our next meeting is July 9th at 6pm. We will meet at the Speedway Municipal Building. We will reflect on the history of STA, elect board members and officers, and cast a vision for the future. Email [email protected] if you can attend.

We enjoyed hosting our district governor at our meeting this week! Governor Locke has been of great service to our district over the last year, and we were proud to host her for an evening. We also had the pleasure of swearing in 4 new members, and 7 different Speedway Lions received chevrons for years of service that range from 10 years to 55 years! As always, we are proud to serve this community!

Thanks for the shout out! This fundraiser brings dollars back into our town that supports things like Speedway Schools, youth athletics, parks programs and the scholarship fund. We just handed out scholarships to 13 bright graduates who will do Speedway proud when they go off to college in the fall. Money raised this weekend will allow us to do it again next year!

Hundreds of campers and RVs will fill the club's 40-acre lot through Race Day for the organization's biggest fundraiser of the year.
