Union City Community Help Center We are a non profit organization the sell good useable items that is donated by the community.

The Community Help Center started when Trinity Lutheran Church, and 1st Christian Church came together in October 1986. One church having a food pantry, and the other having a clothing closet. These two churches formed a Christian based non-profit thrift store with the proceeds going to help the local community. Mission Statement: Our purpose & objective is to provide community assistance with ser

vices and needs. Vision Statement: To reach out in the community, and meet needs as they arise. We accept donated items such as:

• Books/Magazines
• Records
• DVD’s/VCR/CD’s
• Cassette tapes
• Video Games
• Picture Frames
• Vases
• Artificial Flowers
• Wicker baskets
• Toys
• Puzzles
• Board Games
• Dishes/Silverware
• Pots & Pans
• Candles
• Bedding
• Towels
• Curtains
• Blankets
• Small appliances such as coffee makers, toasters, mixers, toaster ovens, and etc.
• Curling Irons
• Blow Dryers
• Clocks
• Sewing machines
• Electronics
• Small furniture items
• Lamps
• Small strands

Good morning everyone. We could use a few volunteers tomorrow morning to help load a truck. This takes about 40 minutes. You basically take bags from one place and load onto another truck. It will be on May 21st at 10:30. We appreciate any help we can get. Thanks

Today was the day. We had our Groundbreaking/40th Anniversary Kick-Off. The weather could of been better, but our spirits were high as we take this next step into the future. We are super excited and looking forward to the future. We are 40 years and still growing.

Hello everyone. It looks like we will NOT be open tomorrow. This snow storm has dumped a lot of snow and it's still coming down. Please stay home and be safe. Good morning everyone! We wanted to take a minute to thank everyone that donated either a decorated tree, wreath, a center peice, or garland to be auctioned off. We also want to thank everyone who baked and cooked items to donate for the bake sale. We wanted to thank everyone that came out to support us and bid on the items in the auction. Thank you to the food truck people too.
Thank you to Trinity Community for sponsoring us Tina Francis and Keith for all of your hard work!! And for Denise Keinow for being the auctioneer. We couldn't of done any of this without you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
We feel that this fundraiser was a success!! There have been people reaching out to us saying they will be willing to decorate a tree/wreath for next year!! So exciting to make this a yearly event.
Keep your eyes posted for news for next year's dates!!
