Union City Community Help Center We are a non profit organization the sell good useable items that is donated by the community.

The Community Help Center started when Trinity Lutheran Church, and 1st Christian Church came together in October 1986. One church having a food pantry, and the other having a clothing closet. These two churches formed a Christian based non-profit thrift store with the proceeds going to help the local community. Mission Statement: Our purpose & objective is to provide community assistance with ser

vices and needs. Vision Statement: To reach out in the community, and meet needs as they arise. We accept donated items such as:

• Records
• DVD’s/VCR/CD’s
• Cassette tapes
• Video Games
• Picture Frames
• Vases
• Artificial Flowers
• Wicker baskets
• Toys
• Puzzles
• Board Games
• Dishes/Silverware
• Pots & Pans
• Candles
• Bedding
• Towels
• Curtains
• Blankets
• Small appliances such as coffee makers, toasters, mixers, toaster ovens, and etc.
• Curling Irons
• Blow Dryers
• Clocks
• Sewing machines
• Electronics
• Small furniture items
• Lamps
• Small strands

I need to clarify that we serve residents that live in Randolph Eastern School District in Randolph County, IN, and Mississiawa Valley School District in Darke County, OH.
Our thrift store is open to the public. Store hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00-5:00, unless posted different. The proceeds do help fund our food pantry and our utility department.
If you are in need of help call 765-964-4475 and we will explain what the requirements are and set up a appointment.
