Education is a non-profit organization with the goal of increasing literacy in low-income communities. Education is committed to assisting parents and children learn how to read and write in English. In the current state of education, there is an issue with the level of reading: many students are reading below their grade level, and they, as a result, cannot enjoy school because reading and writing is at the core of an education. It is the vision of A.K.A Education to help low-income communities become more educated, so the residents of these communities may then live a more productive, prosperous, and fulfilled life. Integral to increasing literacy is helping parents take an active role in their child’s education. It is our belief, and the belief of many educators, that education begins in the home. Education’s vision includes fostering love and fun in the educational process.
