For the first time, Union City Community Schools is excited to host Literacy Under the Lights on Monday, October 12!

We’re bringing literacy to Alumni Field for a fun, family-friendly evening that brings together our students, staff, families, and community. Our fall student-athletes will team up with our elementary students for literacy activities under the stadium lights, while local businesses and community organizations help us create a tailgate-style atmosphere around the field.

📅 Monday, October 12
⏰ 6:00-8:00 PM
📍 Union City High School / Alumni Field

This is something we’ve never done before, and we’re excited to see our community come together for an evening centered around our kids and literacy. We hope to see you under the lights!

Local businesses and community organizations: We would love to have you join us! If your business or organization would like to participate in the community tailgate, please reach out to Dr. McKerr for more information.
