💔HOW COULD ANYONE DO THIS TO HER? 💔
Meet Mollie, a tiny little Maltese mix with the sweetest soul and a story that absolutely breaks my heart.
Mollie is estimated to be between 10 and 12 years old. At an age when she should be curled up on someone’s lap, being spoiled and loved, someone made the heartless decision to toss her into the woods and drive away.
And when I say the woods, I mean a remote dirt road with no homes around for miles. Whoever dumped this tiny senior girl didn’t just abandon her. They left her in a place where she had virtually no chance of finding help or surviving on her own.
But thankfully, Mollie had angels watching over her that day. ❤️ ✨
By what I can only describe as a miracle, just as those people tossed Mollie out and drove away, another vehicle happened to turn onto that very road. A road that rarely sees traffic. Somehow, the right person was placed in the right spot at the exact moment this little girl needed someone the most.
And because of that incredible timing, Mollie is alive and safe today. ❤️
When Mollie came into rescue, we discovered she had a terrible urinary tract infection, and her little legs were quite stiff, making it difficult for her to move comfortably. She has now received her veterinary care and vaccinations, antibiotics to treat her UTI, and pain medication to help with her joint stiffness.
And through it all? She is as sweet as sugar! 🥹❤️
Just look at this precious little face in the video! How could anyone look into those eyes and decide that her life wasn’t worth anything?
I have spent so many years in rescue, and I still cannot wrap my head around the cruelty some animals endure. Mollie didn’t deserve to be discarded. She didn’t deserve to be frightened, confused, sick, and left alone in the middle of nowhere.
No dog deserves that, but there is something especially heartbreaking about someone throwing away a sweet little senior who should be spending her golden years surrounded by love.
I don’t know what Mollie’s life looked like before that day, and I don’t know how long she had been suffering with her medical issues. What I do know is that her life matters, and her story doesn’t end on that lonely dirt road.
Mollie is safe now. She is receiving the care she needs, and we are going to make sure the next chapter of her life is filled with the kindness and love she should have known all along.
To the wonderful woman who happened to travel down that road at precisely the right moment, thank you for being Mollie’s angel. ❤️🐾
And to our sweet little Mollie, you may have been thrown away by someone who didn’t value you, but I promise you, little girl, you are NOT disposable. You matter, and you are loved. ❤️
