🎶💜🤙🏽On behalf of the Northern California Ukulele Festival committee, we’d like to say MAHALO to all the volunteers, attendees, performers, vendors and staff that participated this year.

To all who came to share their talent, their love of the ukulele, to support other family and friends, to come just to jam and spread aloha. Because of you, we can keep the vision of the festival’s founders alive. It takes a lot to put on an event like this, so from us to you: mahalo nui loa.

🎶Today, we remember our founders & thank them for creating such a special event!

The Northern California Ukulele Festival was inspired by the late Hollis Baker and John Ogao, known musicians from the San Francisco Bay Area’s Polynesian Community. These men epitomized the grandest of musicians and ukulele players during their time.

The Northern California Ukulele Festival is committed to the following mission statement:

•To promote and perpetuate the playing of ukulele music by bringing all ages and levels together to share ukulele talent.

•To provide an environment as an inspiration to our youth with the hope that they will keep the traditions and musical heritage of the ukulele alive.

•To embrace the community by providing a venue and event influenced by ukulele music for all persons to enjoy.
