With donors like you, we are able to assist these patients who are our neighbors, our friends, our family. After years of raising funds for other organizations, Obion County decided to create a local fundraising organization to help those battling cancer, right here at home. In 2001, our community held the very first Hometown Walk of Hope, raising an incredible $60,000. Since then, the event has g
rown tremendously — now raising an average of $175,000 each year. To date, more than $3.9 million has been raised to support Obion County residents fighting cancer.
“All money donated during the Hometown Walk of Hope is funneled directly back to people in Obion County.”
