Peace Terrace Academy is dedicated to providing an integrated academic and Islamic program which develops self-directed and resourceful learners. We consider the whole child and the stages of life development to help us engender a strong sense of self and a life-long commitment to learning and to Islamic traditions. Spiritually, it is our goal to inspire every child’s personal connection to Allah,

suhanahu wa’tala. By offering a dynamic curriculum that focus on core foundational knowledge of Islam such as Qur’anic Studies, Islamic Creed, Rights and Responsibilities Towards Parents, Study of the Life of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings upon him, and History and Contributions of Muslims we hope our students will not only embrace their Islamic identity but will work toward further contributions of their own. Educationally, it is our goal to create intellectually vibrant people, independent thinkers, who will never lose their passion for learning, their delight in research and their involvement in religious pursuits. Research indicates that the process of learning is as important as the product. Therefore, we provide an individualized, experiential program that emphasizes the development of thinking, problem solving, and creative self-expression which reaches far beyond the rote mastery of basic skills. Our teachers and staff collaborate to design curricula and set goals and objectives based on the developmental stages of children as well as the particular needs of the children in their classes. Socially, it is our goal to instill mutual respect, compassion and tolerance among our students. Our staff is dedicated to creating a supportive structure and a warm, loving atmosphere in which children can safely address problems and grow in their understanding of themselves and others. Our small size, just 100 students in grades Pre-K-8th, is an important part of our philosophy. It creates a warm, secure, personal learning environment, and provides more meaningful opportunities for involvement and learning. Every member of the Peace Terrace family is essential to the life of our school. Students, staff, parents, and alumni generate the warmth and excitement that define Peace Terrace Academy. Staff and families share meaningful moments of their lives and build bridges to the broader community.

from incredible vocals to heartfelt acting, our students brought energy, confidence, and talent to every scene. Watching them bring this classic story to life was truly special, and we’re so proud of all their hard work and dedication.

🌞🦁 Get ready for a summer full of adventure, learning, friendship, and unforgettable memories!

We are so excited to introduce the Peace Terrace Lionhearts Summer Quest! A fun filled summer experience designed to nurture curious minds, courageous hearts, and a love for learning in a fun, faith-centered environment. 💙✨

Throughout the summer, students will enjoy exciting weekly themes, hands-on STEM activities, literature and writing, arts & crafts, outdoor games, creative projects, Qur’an and Islamic Studies, and so much more! Whether your child loves exploring, creating, building, reading, or making new friends, there’s something special waiting for them each day.

Our programs are thoughtfully designed to combine enrichment, creativity, character-building, and joyful learning while helping students stay engaged and inspired all summer long. 🌟

Huge thanks to our amazing house captains, Amador and Aliyah, for delivering the smiles—Amador even rolled around a cute little cart to make sure everyone got their treats right to their door!

Today was one of the most exciting days of the year, our 4th Grade Business Day! 🎉

Our students stepped into the world of entrepreneurship, working in teams to create, market, and sell their own products. From handmade crafts to delicious treats, each group showed incredible creativity, teamwork, and determination.
Beyond the fun, this experience helped our students build real-world skills, communication, problem-solving, financial literacy, and responsibility!

We are so proud of their hard work, confidence, and enthusiasm. The future is looking very bright from our view 🌟

This past weekend (and Monday) our Peace Terrace drone team, the Midnight Ravens, made their way to San Diego for the National West Aerial Drone Championship!

We are all so proud of our girls for achieving this amazing opportunity and to see how much they thrive in this exciting environment!

We are rooting for them all the way here in the Bay Area and can’t wait to hear about their experience participating in the championships 🤖
