Prior to Nichelle passing, she had discussed with her family that she hoped she would continue being an inspiration. Through these discussions, it was decided to launch a foundation in her name. As part of the foundation, the "Hailing Frequencies Open" event was launched. Our events showcase amazing individuals in tech, science, math, engineering and the arts. These events are hosted by Star Trek actors!
