Benicia High School hosted the very first NCS Division II East Bay Championships over the weekend. Over 300 wrestlers (boys & girls) competed for a chance to advance to the NCS Championship tournament. BHS produced eight placers, three qualifiers, and one champion at 140 pounds.

Our Panthers stepped into the Lion’s Den for the Lou Bronzan Invitational and were met with some tough competition. This was a 2-day tournament with our wrestlers: Bryce Christensen (106), Jared Teodoro (113), Koen Bautista (113), and Brenden Christensen (120) returning for the second day, and Dominic Garingarao (144) making it to the 7th place match.
