The Foxie G Foundation A 501(c)(3) nonprofit horse and cat rescue established to honor the memory of a racehorse named Foxie G.

Horses Helping People Center offering equine-assisted therapy coming in 2026! On September 14, 2012, The Foxie G Foundation was established to honor the memory and enjoyment of life of a phenomenal racehorse named Foxie G. This 501(c)(3) corporation provides rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming for Thoroughbreds, whether off the track or not. Through a permanent retirement and adoption program thes

e horses are given the opportunity to find new homes and often a new career. In addition to the horses, felines could not be forgotten. The need for low cost spay/neuter, TNR and adoption programs has increased substantially with the economy and rise in outdoor and feral cat populations. Through public education, affordable veterinary services and matching cats and kittens with forever homes, The Foxie G Foundation can have a direct hand in offering a positive solution to a rapidly growing issue.

How do we begin to thank people that show up time after time to volunteer?

Seven kind people from Charles River Labs in Frederick spent the day here yesterday putting together the raised bed vegetable and fruit gardens that will be a part of the Newby Horses Helping People Center. They come out twice a year to help with anything we need done. Their hard work makes the farm a better place each and every time.

And we can’t forget to mention Lisa and Joe who are always the first ones to volunteer and organize a new project. They will take on any project, no matter how difficult it is.

We want to thank all of these wonderful people from the bottom of our hearts for all they do for Foxie G.

Every once in a while, when the day has been particularly hard, we question the wisdom of starting a rescue.

Then we stumble upon a sweet moment like this. Two feral cats with no where to go who are now the best of friends and horses needing sanctuary who will live their days out peacefully here.

Then we say to ourselves “this is why”…

We have many broodmares that entered the slaughter pipeline after they aged out of having foals. They are some of the most gentle souls on the farm.
These old girls deserve better.

Today we honor all those that have sacrificed to give us the freedom we have today including the horses and mules that carried men and women fearlessly into battle. Thank you for your bravery. You will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

Veterans, first responders, at risk youth, patients with Parkinson's disease and dementia along with their caregivers are often overlooked and underserved. They have become an important part of the expanded mission of The Foxie G Foundation.

The Newby Horses Helping People Center will offer equine assisted learning and therapy to promote emotional growth, physical activity and positive social engagement for many deserving members of our community. Our horses will also benefit greatly from the human interaction. With classes scheduled for early August, we need your help to get the Center operational.

Donations for the final phase of the Center can be made via PayPal (PayPal.me/TheFoxieGFoundation), Venmo (), credit card (https://square.link/u/q26h26gg), Cash App ($thefoxieg), check or cash.

Please consider donating or sharing our flyer so that our Center can begin positively affecting many lives.
