Born and raised in Nebraska I struggled to find places to ride in the sport of BMX freestyle. Traveling several hours away a few times a month I saw the need for a place for other kids to go in Nebarska. BMX freestyle is a sport that anyone can do and it gives most kids a great way to express themselves. Team sports are great but not every kid is cut out for them, it's important that all sports ar

e offered giving every kid the opportunity to reap the benefits that sports have to offer, such as personal accomplishment and positive character development. Myself and my wife Carrie bought a foreclosed acreage several years back and got straight to work building ramps and dirt jumps. The word began to spread and countless kids began coming there on a regular basis. The Nowear Compound has become extremely popular and more or less a home away from home for countless kids and families. With so many people coming and going the responsibilities and finances became more than one family could take on alone so a non profit was established. Now the doors are wide open for others to join in on this fabulous cause and help the compound grow and it's mission to help kids and all riders alike. Kids need as many positive outlets and choices in todays society to become their best selves down the road. This benefits everyone and our society as a whole.

Hey locals it’s that time of year again
The step up is going back on so we can fix the park up, give it fresh paint and logos in preparation for the 2026 contest season.
We start Sunday 9am and if we get enough volunteers we should have it done by 12 for the Sunday session to start.
