And just like that, our Summer Series is almost over. 🥹

We’ve got one more Main Street Crawl next month before we wrap up our first Small Town Saturdays season, and looking around yesterday, it kinda felt like it all started to click.

Apparently all you have to do is give people a reason to come to town… and they’ll take it from there. ❤️

Ladies sitting around a picnic table drinking coffee. People hanging out on the benches along Main Street. Moms, friends, couples, kids, dogs and strollers wandering around. Kids climbing, playing and laughing. Dogs everywhere—in a wagon and in the bar. 😅😍

A poker run rolled through, skipped the b**r, bought some homemade jam and headed back out. 😅 Gary was posted up outside Mal’s... I think some call this “famous in a small town.” If you know, you know. 😅

A husband bought his wife flowers. No excuses, guys. We legit make it so easy for you fellas. 😂

And then someone even brought their farm kittens to town to see if anyone wanted to take one home! Obviously we had to capture that because does it GET more small town than that?! 😂

Meanwhile, people were bouncing around town, shopping, eating, getting tox and B12 shots, visiting with vendors and supporting small businesses from Unadilla and our neighboring towns.

Then everyone went home and we started seeing their side of the morning—what they bought, who they met, the businesses they discovered... and one little girl who couldn't even make it out the door before cracking open her pickles. 😂

This is exactly the vibe Small Town Saturdays was intended to become. A little something for everyone.

Come for breakfast. Come for coffee. Bring the kids. Bring the dog. Shop. Sit on a bench and shoot the s**t. Get some flowers for your wife. Apparently find yourself a farm kitten. 😂

Just come to town. You’ll find something to do when you get here. ❤️

And we’ve got one more before summer is officially in the books...

A personal experience I had at an estate sale this morning got me thinking...

This is the EXACT kind of business we want to join us for Small Town Saturdays.

We're not just a vendor fair. Or a makers market letting anyone who pays a fee pop up.

We're intentional. We're curated. We want like-minded individuals and small businesses who share the same values we do.

Because that's what creates an environment people show up for, keep coming back to and tell their friends about.

That's how we grow and win together.

We grow, our events get bigger and better, and we support local small businesses and help feed their families... while also giving people something different and fun to do on a Saturday morning.

That's what STS is all about.

It's not about popping up for three hours, making a quick buck and going home.

Gain the follower. Build the relationship. Grow your community of supporters. Support the business next to you.

Those relationships turn into repeat customers long after the event is over.

We aren't trying to be a huge, busy farmers market with any and every vendor who wants to pay for a spot. That's just not what we're building.

We're keeping it small, intentional and curated because I truly believe that's what makes it work.
