Elks Day at the Rays!

We are back inside with air conditioning again, Yay!!!

The FSEA State President will be throwing out the first pitch and our FECTS CHAMP will make the “Play Ball” announcement.

Click the link below for group discount pricing. You may also select seats anywhere you wish. The price will depend on the seats purchased. This is identical to what Grand Lodge is did for their Elks Night at Wrigley Field for July fourth in Chicago.
If you do not have the MLB Ballpark app, once you have purchased your tickets, you will need to download it and set up your account. Remember that you will need to use the same email provided when the tickets were purchased when setting up the MLB account.

The MLB Ballpark is readily available in the App Store for Apple and the Play Store for Android devices. MLB Ballpark app allows you to select any seats and you may transfer digital tickets to anyone who also has a Ballpark app. If you are planning to sit together as a group, the Rays are willing to work with you so please coordinate with each other.

Another sweet full-circle camp moment! 💚

Heidi, a 4th-year camper, and Forrest, joining us for his very first year, were pretty excited to spot their Nana, Pauline Talbott, on our wall during check-in. And not just once, but twice! Pauline served two terms as FLOE President, so she earned two places on the wall. 🥰

We love seeing FEYC traditions and memories continue through the generations. Camp really does run in the family! 🏕️💚

Talk about a full-circle FEYC moment! 💚 Ryan is attending camp for the very first time, and just behind him hangs a photo of his mom, Anna, serving as a counselor here back in 2003. We love seeing camp memories passed from one generation to the next! 🏕️

I may put together a highlight reel later, but until then, here are all 10 minutes of videos I took from tonight’s fireworks show! 🎆

A couple of disclaimers:
• You might hear me singing along once or twice. 😄
• I was trying to enjoy the show while recording, so most of the time I was just pointing my phone in the general direction of the fireworks and hoping for the best.
• And yes… there was one moment when I was absolutely convinced I was recording, only to realize I’d actually stopped. Oops! 🤦‍♀️

They’re not professional videos, but hopefully they help you enjoy a little piece of an incredible night!

🎆 The excitement is building! 🎆

Tonight, our campers will gather under the stars for one of the highlights of the week… a spectacular fireworks show! ✨

We’re celebrating 250 years of America and 30 unforgettable summers at Florida Elks Youth Camp. There’s something special about watching campers look up in awe, surrounded by friends, laughter, and memories they’ll never forget.

We can’t wait to light up the sky tonight! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
Added: photo that one of our Lake neighbors took ❤️🤍💙

Holy early, Batman!

We just received camper mail for a session that doesn’t start for another SEVEN AND A HALF WEEKS. 😂

Somebody is clearly READY for summer camp season… and honestly, we respect that level of preparedness, Aunt Apryl.

✨PRO TIP✨: We have a letter-writing station at camp check-in where parents can write or drop off letters and care packages for their camper. Just keep in mind that campers receive mail at dinner Monday through Friday. For bus campers, parents can also send these items with the bus chaperones.

✨PRO TIP - EXTRA✨: You can even label items Monday through Friday if you want your camper to receive them on a specific day.
