We are SO excited that The Rock, Umatilla is the first charitable organization to be showcased at Doin' Good Shoppe in Mt Dora. Go check them out!
As long-time residents of the Golden Triangle area, we take great pride in serving those around us. In 2023, we opened our first small business called, Doin’ Good! Junk Removal.
When asked what made us want to open a thrift store, we simply said it seemed like a natural progression in business, as well as a fantastic way to steward the items and keep more usable materials out of the dump. We are really looking forward to being a place where the community can gather and support each other. Come find a deal at the shoppe, grab an amazing meal at one of our food trucks on site, and hang out under the shade trees at the outdoor seating area. This Shoppe is bigger than us. It serves our community in a very tangible way with the potential of a much bigger impact - and we are here for it!
Through December 31st, a portion of our proceeds with be going to The Rock @ Umatilla Middle School. We will also be facilitating ways to donate monetarily to their cause, as well as being a collection site for leggings and sweat pants (all adult sizes needed) for their closet at the school. When you shop with us, you are quite literally supporting your community.
