It’s been another evening of fun and food for the whole family at Alex Thomas Plaza for an amazing cause! Thank you Granite Construction for organizing another unforgettable night! And thank you to all the businesses that took the themes and flavor to another level! Most importantly, cheers to all of you for coming out in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Ukiah! It’s so important for our community! 🧑‍🍳 🥣

🎡 If fall fun is your vibe, then save the dates for Pumpkinfest!

It’s all happening October 16-18 and this year we’re celebrating Ukiah’s 150th anniversary! While it’s still more than a month away, now is the time to get registered for the October 17 Pumpkinfest Parade before October 9. It’s also time to get ready for the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off which takes place October 16. No pre-registration is required for that event.

Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off entry forms and Parade applications are available at the City of Ukiah Civic Center Annex, 411 W. Clay Street, Ukiah, or online at www.cityofukiah.com/pumpkinfest. For more information, please call the Community Services Department at 463-6231. We’ll you downtown next month! 🎃

🛥️ Last night’s boat races lived up to the name “the best 15 minutes of summer” and more!

22 entries made this one of the biggest and baddest boat races of the past few years. The destruction was truly next level. It’s going to be tough to wait till 2027 to do it again! 🚤🏁

🎡 Don’t miss the Redwood Empire Fair this weekend!

The biggest fair of the year is finally here, there’s so much to see and we’re celebrating 250 years of America all weekend long! Make sure to check out livestock and vendors in the different halls. Plus, the food options are amazing — as always!There’s also tons of awesome rides and action every night at Ukiah Speedway. Naturally, we’re counting down the minutes until the Boat Races Sunday night! See ya at the fairgrounds this weekend! 🍿🎠🍭

🎡 The Redwood Empire Fair returns August 6! Are you ready for four days of summer fun?

This is the biggest and best fair of the year with livestock awards & auctions, Ukiah Idol, and nightly music! Don’t miss the motor sports action happening every night including the legendary boat races on Sunday night! Of course, your favorite food vendors will be there plus multiple rides, a petting zoo and so much more.

You can pre-purchase your wristbands at all Mendo Mill locations in the county, Ukiah Taco Bell, Raley’s, Chavez Market and Creative Workshop. You can also buy wristbands online at redwoodempirefair.com. We’ll see you in two weeks! 🍭🎠🎢
