Tapestry Family Services is a community-based nonprofit organization and Foster Family Agency formed to develop and provide programs and services that support and advance the health and well-being of children and adolescents with mental health needs. As the name implies, our programs are designed to weave an array of services around children and families. Like a tapestry, the service threads are linked and related, with the specific pattern of services designed to meet the unique needs of each individual child.

Some of the work that keeps Tapestry strong happens behind the scenes, and Sabrina Mendenhall is a big part of it.

Sabrina has been with Tapestry for nearly a year as an Administrative Specialist III in our Operations department, and in that time she has become an important part of both our Operations and Compliance work of documentation and reporting.

She also serves as a Co-Coordinator of our Performance and Quality Improvement Committee, helping strengthen community involvement, compliance, and agency performance.

Sabrina's work may not always be front and center, but her impact is felt across Tapestry every day.

Meet the Team Monday: Nicholas Collins

If you've stopped by our Fort Bragg office recently, there's a good chance you've been welcomed by Nicholas Collins!

Nicholas joined Tapestry in June and has quickly become a friendly and familiar face for staff and community members walking through our doors. He brings positivity, humor, and a genuine willingness to help every day.

One of the things we appreciate most about Nicholas is his determination to find an answer. If he doesn't know something right away, he's willing to ask, learn, and figure out how to get someone where they need to go. That curiosity and eagerness to learn have made him a wonderful addition to our coastal team.

Whether he's helping someone at the front desk, supporting his coworkers, or simply bringing a little laughter into the day, Nicholas helps make our Fort Bragg office feel welcoming.

We're glad to have Nicholas as part of Team Tapestry and excited to watch him continue to grow with us!

Meet the Team Monday: Zach Francis

In the almost one year that Zach has been with Tapestry as our Facilities Coordinator he has made an impact quite impossible to miss.

Zach brings an easygoing personality, a friendly demeanor, and a strong work ethic to everything he does. He steps in wherever he is needed and quickly became someone the team could count on.

While he has played a major role in resetting the standards for facility care and maintenance, his work goes far beyond the basics. On any given day, Zach can be found mopping up debris outside our offices, building desks and bookshelves, moving equipment, or helping manage agency vehicles so staff can safely and effectively use those resources.

He has also taken an active leadership role in Performance & Quality Improvement, bringing fresh energy and ideas.

Thank you, Zach, for all you do!

Meet the Team Monday: Promeza Mosqueda

Although Promeza is newer to our team, joining Tapestry in June, she has already made a meaningful impact on our office environment. She has a natural ability to make people feel welcome, valued, and comfortable, and she brings a warmth that is felt by both staff and those we serve.

She has truly helped create an inviting, positive atmosphere in the office. Her kindness, approachability, and willingness to contribute to a welcoming environment have not gone unnoticed. We are grateful for the energy she brings to our team and the positive difference she is already making.
