Kimmie Allen is the founder of Magazine, a fashion-forward brand built for women who love getting dressed, collecting beautiful pieces, + having fun with style. Magazine blends playful, wearable fashion with a mobile custom patch + trucker hat bar—bringing creativity, color, + personality directly to closets + events.
Kimmie started Magazine because she missed having fun with clothes + colors—and she wanted other women to feel that joy too. A Philadelphia native + mom to one daughter, she created Magazine as a way to return to what she loves most: styling real women, obsessing over textiles and color, + turning fashion into an experience. After nearly 20 years of teaching fashion + entrepreneurship in a public high school, she felt called to build something that felt playful, + personal.
“Magazine is where my love of textiles, bling, + storytelling comes together. I’m inspired by art history + Klimt, hand sewing, embroidery, natural fabrics, spiritual practices, The Real Housewives, the unapologetic style of the ’80s and ’90s + of course, magazines. Whether I’m styling someone at a hat bar, designing an upcycled blazer, or curating patches, my goal is always the same: to help you feel like yourself, but brighter + happier in what you wear.”
