The Claymont Booster Club has sponsored shirts for lifters of the week during the summer. Earning that distinction this week is Brady Henry, Tru Smitley, Eleanor Hamilton, and Antonio Fracchione. No one has worked harder than Brady this offseason. Tru brings a great attitude to workouts and does a great job helping our younger lifters. Eleanor does a great job of focusing on her technique, which seems to improve during every lift. Antonio has had near perfect attendance since January. Keep working hard.

We just wrapped up week one of our summer lifting program, our high school lifters of the week are Daniel McGarr and Autumn Fowler. Daniel is a varsity wrestler and football player, he has worked hard this offseason to improve his strength. Autumn is a member of our volleyball and track teams, she brings great energy to the weight room and is typically our DJ. Our middle school lifters of the week are Harleigh Carpenter and Tyson Smitley. Harleigh’s favorite lift is the deadlift. Tyson has been working hard to improve his technique and his bench press. Congratulations and keep working hard!

Youth wrestler Ryder Taylor traveled to Pennsylvania to wrestle in the Pins in the Park Open where she brought home first place!
