Local bass fishing club. Tyrone Bassmasters is a local bass fishing club. We currently have both a regular series and a 60 and over senior series.

Throughout the year we hold 8 club tournaments and a "Classic" tournament at the end of the tournament season. Throughout the year anglers receive points based on how well they finish the tournaments. Tyrone Bassmasters is affiliated with BASS. Through BASS events anglers have the opportunity to participate in tournaments fishing against anglers from other bass fishing clubs across the state. Base

Nice clear chilly night on Raystown as the Regular Series fished their 6th tournament of the year. Congratulations to Garry Beck on the win with 16.49lbs. Also congratulations to Lynn Wheland for taking lunker with a 4.36lb smallmouth.

The Seniors fished their 7th of 8 club tournaments today. Congrats to Ed Henderson on winning both the tournament and lunker. Ed weighed in a 4 fish limit for 11.49lbs and a lunker largemouth of 5.55lbs.

With one tournament remaining Jeff Bloom leads the Senior AOY race by 2 points over Ed Henderson and 4 over Mike Wagner. Final Senior tournament is East Brady on 9/17.

The Senior Series fished Raystown this am for the 6th tournament of the season. Congratulations to Ed Henderson on the win with a 4 fish limit for 9.11lbs. Lunker went to Mike Wagner with a 3.66lb Smallmouth. Had 29 seniors fish, paid 6 spots.

Regular Series wrapped up its 5th tournament of the year today on Cayuga. Fishing was more tough than in years passed but some good fish were caught.
Congratulations to Chad Weaver on the win with a 2 day total of 30.95lbs. Day 1 lunker went to Matt Plummer with a 5.06lb largemouth and day 2 lunker went to Kevin Diebold with a 5.04lb largemouth. Paid 4 places for this one.
