Local bass fishing club. Tyrone Bassmasters is a local bass fishing club. We currently have both a regular series and a 60 and over senior series.

Throughout the year we hold 8 club tournaments and a "Classic" tournament at the end of the tournament season. Throughout the year anglers receive points based on how well they finish the tournaments. Tyrone Bassmasters is affiliated with BASS. Through BASS events anglers have the opportunity to participate in tournaments fishing against anglers from other bass fishing clubs across the state. Base

Tyrone Regular Series took a two day trip to Mosquito lake Friday and today. Weather was absolutely brutal both days. Friday was 45 degrees, an inch of rain combined with 10pm winds all day and today was worse with 35-40 degrees with a mix of snow sleet and freezing rain all morning and another 10mph winds making it feel in the 20’s in May. 10 degree water temp drop made finding bigger fish tough.
But congratulations to Garry Beck on the win with 2 limits over 2 days for a total of 17.07lbs.

The Tyrone Bassmasters Seniors kicked off their series today with a tournament at Raystown. 3 fish limit on the day. 31 members fished, paid 6 spots. Congratulations to Paul Vincent on the win weighing in 3 smallmouth for 14.30lbs. Also congratulations to Bill Runk on taking lunker with a 7.38lb tank of a largemouth.

Held an open tournament on Good Friday. We had 40 boats come out and fish. Paid 6 spots. 4 fish, 15” limit for this one. Congratulations to the team of Aaron Green and Shane Arnold for winning both the tournament and lunker. They weighed in a mixed bag with 18.96lbs and a 5.67lb lunker smallmouth.

The club traveled to the Yough Dam today for the second Regular Series club tournament of the year. 3 fish limit today. Had 24 participants and paid 6 spots. Congrats to Jay Hoff on the win with 3 smallies for 8.49lbs and Dave Meck on lunker with a 4.83lb Laregmouth.

First regular series club tournament yesterday on Raystown. 32 members fished. Congratulations to Matt Savino for both the win and lunker yesterday. Matt had a 3 fish limit for 12.87 and a 5.40 lunker smallmouth.

+ Attend a winter monthly meeting - 4th Tuesday at 7:00pm at the Tyrone Sportsman Association (last meeting is March)
+ $50 Yearly Dues
+ $20 Per Tournament (100% payout)
+ $5 Optional Lunker (100% payout)
+ Individual Competition
+ Fish as many as able
+ End of Year Team Classic
+ Senior Series - Must be 60 and older, fish during the week with reduced hours. Senior members can
fish either series.

Good group of guys. Competitive but not over the top. Lots of fun.

Great weather today for our November Open. Snowed and blew 20mph+ all day.

Congratulations to AJ Daugherty on the win and lunker. AJ weighed in a 4 fish limit for 17.82lbs and a lunker of 4.81lbs.
