THROWBACK THURSDAY
This is the first of many old photos we found in storage that we will be sharing over the Fall/Winter. Be sure to comment and like if you see someone you know. We always love a bit of context or any stories associated with the picture as well! I think I spy more than a few familiar Lamoka faces in this one!

The 2027 Summer Staff application is NOW OPEN at www.lamoka.com/staff-application. You can find out more about our Summer positions (paid and volunteer) at www.lamoka.com/opportunities. It takes many hands to run the ministry each Summer. We would love for you to join us as we reach the lost and encourage the many children, teens, and families God sends to Lamoka.

We are so overwhelmed by the generosity of His people in 2026! The number of donated items dropped off at camp this year rivals that of any year in living memory, including a work truck, a new zero-turn lawn mower, 2 new wells, dozens of tools, a washer/dryer, so much cereal, cleaning supplies, and much more! Thank you to you, our Lamoka family, for your continued love and support of the ministry.

Join us for a time of fellowship, food, and fun.

Our Teen Retreat is drawing to a close and we have had an incredible time with this group of teens! Horses, RC car races, climbing, ax throwing, great food, lots of laughter and fun, and so much more happened over the last 24 hours and we have loved every minute. Looking forward to seeing how God will use what we learned in chapels to encourage and challenge this group.

As we make the transition to a new Head Chef, we need to cancel our previously scheduled Fall Pizza & Play event at camp. We will miss it greatly! It has been so much fun. It will be back in Spring 2027. We look forward to seeing you all then.

It can be hard to let go of control, but we don't have to carry it all on our own. Today, may we find peace in trusting God’s direction for our lives. — Proverbs 3:5–6
