Many of our 12-year-olds have played their last Little League game. 😢 Thank you to their families for your years spent getting them to and from the fields, supporting them from the stands, and coaching them from the dugouts. 🫶

Our Board Members serve in many capacities, and as Tyrone Area’s largest youth sports organization, there is always a need to have more dedicated volunteers.

“It takes a village” is a real thing. You don’t have to know every rule of softball to serve on the Board. And just the same, you don’t need to know how to create a balance sheet to serve on the Board!

The most-needed attribute for a prospective Board Member is to have a desire to serve the community and its kids, and to be reliable in doing so. Serving on the Board is a definite time commitment.

Last night, one of our baseball players lost his mom to a sudden health issue. We are devastated for Chase and his family. If you are able, please consider donating to the GoFundMe that has been set up to help the Christine family.

Crystal leaves behind her 2 sons and husband. Crystal was a boisterous supporter of Chase and his team. She was always found at the ball field cheering him on.

The TAYBLL & TAYSLL leagues will be donating all 50/50 proceeds from now until all-star season begins.

Thank you for your support of Chase and his family! And thank you to Anthony Zimmerman, Chase’s coach and TAYBLL board member, for creating a way for the community to support the family.

UPDATE: Materials have generously been donated by The Bull Pen Restaurant & Sports Bar! Any contractors willing to put in a bit of elbow grease?

TAYBLL & TAYSLL are searching for help to button up a few areas around our fields. As the largest youth sports organization in Tyrone Area, any improvement makes a big impact.

For example, the Ferner Field press box. This field is used by both softball and baseball; we have over 255 kids in our ever-growing leagues! As can be seen in the photo, we need some aluminum and small carpentry work done.

We also have a list of miscellaneous items we’d like to have checked off from around the Little League field.

Do we have any local contractors looking to sponsor by way of manpower? We can work out a deal! Please reach out to [email protected] or [email protected].

It a was a fun coach-pitch playoff game tonight!

Taylor Barnes of the Bake Shop Bakes Tyrone Mighty Mussels hit her first in-the-park home run.

Nolan Reese of the DelGrosso's Park Cannon Ballers hit his first in-the-park home run.

Holden Zimmerman of the Bake Shop Bakes Mighty Mussels hit two in-the-park home runs, one being a grand slam.
