7th annual trail day!

Join the Conservation Commission and the Tyngsborough Land Trust on May 2nd for trail cleanup and maintenance of the Bell property. This beautiful property, right across the street from the town hall and library, was donated to the town by Edward Bell in 1996. Help us clean up trash, cut back overgrowth, repair the boardwalk among other much needed maintenance. Please RSVP to Emilie Brush, Conservation Director at ebrush@tyngsborough a.gov if you plan on helping out.

Last night we had a great presentation from Liz and Rae Ann from the Tyngsborough Land Trust to learn what it is they do and how it relates to the Conservation land in town. Thank you Ladies!

We look forward to seeing our members at our Annual Meeting on September 28th from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Sherburne Nature Center, 46 Coburn Road. There will be a brief business meeting followed by light refreshments.

Rae Ann Jacek and Rose Mitchell shared information about the Tyngsborough Land Trust at the Council on Aging breakfast this morning. The topic was “Who We Are and What We Do.”

Fence is coming along three sections completed. Two of the other sections are close more lumber needs to be ordered. Thanks Ed, Ed Jr Emily and Rose for the strong work.
