Hot summer days, heavy gear, and long responses make hydration a top priority. 4th District VFD would like to thank DripDrop and National Volunteer Fire Council for the generous donation of DripDrop electrolyte drink mix as part of the 2026 DripDrop Hydration Giveback Campaign. This will help us fight dehydration and keep our crews at their best.

On Wednesday 7/29/26 at 10:42 pm 4th District Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the mobile home fully involved. While we were unable to save the entire structure, we were able to save approximately half of the home. Any portion of a home that can be preserved is a success, and we are hopeful that some of the homeowner's belongings will be salvageable.

We would like to thank Tylertown Volunteer Fire Department and Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department for their quick response and mutual aid. Their firefighters assisted with fire suppression and water shuttle operations, and their help was greatly appreciated.
As always, we are thankful for the teamwork and dedication of everyone involved.
