Our Story
To work with Families to build stronger communities, and with communities to build a stronger city.
Our organization works with children and families to build stronger communities. We do activities that get everyone involved. We work closely with other Nonprofit organizations to fill the needs of our city. We believe that every child has a light and they just need the right opportunity to let it shine. We have been working in the community since 2010 and continue to grow. We are hoping to implement new programs and get more families involved with our organization. We are always looking for mentors for our after school program, as well as people with special talents they can share with our children.
2017 was a especially busy year we did three Easter Egg Hunts with over 13,000 stuffed eggs, we had jump houses, food, music, games and fun. Then we did several outside movies thoughout the summer, Two family fun day and picnics. We took 100 people to see the Frisco Roughriders play two games, and took another 60 to see a Texas Rangers game. I attended six Fun Lover dances to support the ARC, attended the Crystal Ball and “A night to Shine” dances. We worked with Tyler Unity with the Back to school supply drive, also with JABS on their Easter Egg Hunt. We worked with the Church under the Bridge for Christmas under the bridge, did Thanksgiving at the Salvation Army. Went back and forth the Rockport delivering supplies. Took $2,500 worth of Walmart gift cards to Rockport and Port Aransas for Christmas. Adopted families for Thanksgiving and Christmas which we made food boxes with the entire meal, plus gifts. My husband played Santa on the Square for the second time this year to benefit The Integrity scholarship foundation. We worked closely with the Masonic and Shriner family in multiple activities. Yes, it was a very busy year. But all was not good, we purchased a new building and were awarded it, but the saler turned around and sold it to someone else. But everything happens for a reason. Our 2018 calender is looking quite full as well but we are never to busy to help a fellow organization that is helping the community so if you need us, call us. (903)253-6960
